About KellyHaving impressed the team selectors with performances aboard her consistent gelding Alfredo, with whom she jumped three clears in the tough Luxembourg Grand Prix shortly prior to selection, finishing 5th. Kelly was in fact the first lady rider to be chosen for the British Team in the World Games since Liz Edgar in 1981. As well as competing on the international circuit, travelling all over the world on the Winter World Cup tour, and the Nations Cup shows over the Summer outdoor season, Kelly has spent many years producing some quality young horses at her yard home for the future. These have included horses that have gone on to successful careers as top-level performers. For example, having produced Casino, the horse with whom John Whitaker finished runner up in the 2008 Olympia World Cup qualifier. With her years of significant experience, which began as a successful pony rider, have given her a wealth of knowledge that she currently enjoys passing on to other riders. Kelly's relaxed and approachable manner; combined with her experience right at the top of the sport, make her the perfect coach for the amateur or professional rider.
